The Chrome was a limited-run dress-up of the fuel-injected Classic 500, set apart by extra chrome plating on the mudguards and tank, hand-painted pinstriping and a two-tone paint scheme. Mechanically it kept the standard 499 cc unit-construction single and 1950s Bullet styling with a single sprung saddle.
